The leader and head of the Oriental Brothers International Band was Christogonus Ezebuiro Obinna, but popularly known by alias Dr. Sir Warrior along with others like Dan Satch. The Oriental Brothers was well known in the Nigerian Igbo highlife music industry for many decades.
So we bring to you the Nigerian artistes who had recently cobbed their tracks from the Oriental brothers idea.
1. PHYNO in the track PINO PINO.
The song PINO PINO by the the Indigenous Igbo rapper, was extracted from Oriental brothers track titled NWANYI NNA YA WU EZE. At the end of PHYNO's Pino Pino, he gave a reference to the Orientals, which was a great move.
2. PC Lapez – Osho No Be Free
PC LAPEZ admitted extracting his lines and meanings from the Oriental Brothers music, and the title which is unknown to me. But at the end of the track titled “OSHO NO BE FREE“, he added LONG LIVE ORIENTAL BROTHERS.
Yeah, great move. Giving credit to the original song writers is a great move by this credible singers.
