A familiar expression from Nigerian pop culture finds a fresh place in contemporary Hip-Hop as talented Nigerian rapper and songwriter Blaqbonez teams up with sensational Afrobeats singer Victony on an exciting song titled “Yahooze.” The recording appears as the ninth track on Blaqbonez's fourth studio album, “NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME,” adding another interesting collaboration to the rapper's latest musical project.
“Yahooze” is a title that carries considerable recognition in Nigerian entertainment, particularly among listeners familiar with the country's street-pop history. The expression became widely known through Olu Maintain's popular 2007 song of the same name, making it a recognizable cultural reference. Its appearance on Blaqbonez's album introduces an interesting connection between an earlier era of Nigerian popular music and today's evolving Afrobeats and Hip-Hop scene.
For Blaqbonez, the recording fits into his reputation for embracing unconventional ideas, playful expressions, and culturally relevant themes. The rapper has consistently distinguished himself through his confident personality and willingness to experiment with different musical approaches, helping him establish a recognizable identity within the Nigerian music industry.
The collaboration with Victony brings together two artists whose individual styles have attracted considerable attention. While Blaqbonez is widely recognized for his witty rap delivery and creative approach to Hip-Hop, Victony has developed a reputation for his expressive vocals, melodic songwriting, and contributions to contemporary Nigerian Afrobeats.
Their partnership on “Yahooze” adds another dimension to the album's collection of guest appearances. The combination of a rapper and a melodic Afrobeats vocalist reflects the creative flexibility that continues to shape modern Nigerian music, where traditional genre boundaries increasingly overlap.
As the ninth track on “NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME,” “Yahooze” follows “CA$H Out” and precedes “Like 2021.” Its placement within the fifteen-track album contributes to a sequence of recordings featuring references to money, lifestyle, popular culture, and personal experiences.
The album itself represents another chapter in Blaqbonez's career, highlighting his continued growth as one of Nigeria's prominent contemporary rappers. With songs such as “Big Performer,” “Ikebe 3000,” “Chanel,” “Mazza,” and “Finesse You,” the project brings together different creative ideas while maintaining the rapper's distinctive personality.
One of the notable qualities of “Yahooze” is its culturally familiar title. Nigerian popular music has a long history of transforming everyday expressions into memorable musical references, and this recording draws attention to that tradition through a name associated with an earlier generation of Naija entertainment.
For listeners who enjoy Nigerian Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, Afro-fusion, contemporary street-pop, and Naija Music, “Yahooze” is another noteworthy selection from “NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME.” The collaboration between Blaqbonez and Victony makes it particularly interesting to fans who appreciate the combination of rap and melodic African music.
Beyond its place in the tracklist, the song reflects the creative exchange between two recognizable figures in Nigeria's contemporary entertainment industry. Both performers have developed individual artistic identities, and their appearance on the same recording adds to the album's collaborative appeal.
With “Yahooze,” Blaqbonez and Victony contribute another distinctive entry to “NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME,” connecting a familiar Nigerian cultural expression with the creative direction of Blaqbonez's fourth studio album.
