The Tanzanian Bongo Flava star joins forces with Ya Levis, the Congolese French singer known for his smooth R&B and Afro-pop sound, creating a cross-regional collaboration built around romance and commitment.
Rather than chasing a club-focused direction, “I Do” leans into the emotional side of love. Harmonize expresses his devotion to a woman he considers his one and only, with the song gradually taking the shape of a promise to remain committed. The repeated “I do” sentiment gives the record the feeling of a personal vow, making marriage and lifelong companionship central to its message.
Ya Levis adds another layer to the record with his silky vocal delivery, complementing Harmonize's melodic style while bringing a Francophone/Central African influence into the predominantly Tanzanian soundscape.
