After mysteriously traveling through time, Zion Yates awakens in an unfamiliar world and finds himself trapped inside the body of the overlooked Third Prince of Dvalor.
With no desire to become involved in royal politics, Zion initially plans to keep a low profile and enjoy a quiet life. But when his ambitious brothers begin fighting for the throne, he realizes that staying out of the struggle may be impossible.
Armed with knowledge from the modern era, Zion turns his greatest advantage into a weapon. Using ideas and strategies completely foreign to the people of Dvalor, he repeatedly outsmarts his brothers, dismantles their schemes, and earns the attention of the royal court.
Before long, the prince everyone once ignored rises above his rivals and is unexpectedly named Crown Prince.
Yet despite possessing wealth, authority, and the throne within his reach, Zion wants none of it. All he has ever wanted is a peaceful, carefree existence away from royal intrigue.
Unfortunately, becoming Crown Prince means peace may be the one thing he can no longer have.
