Tim, a wealthy heir, chooses family expectations over love when he marries his socialite fiancée, abandoning Laura, his devoted assistant and secret lover of three years. What he doesn't know is that Laura is battling a life-threatening heart condition and desperately trying to tell him the truth. Believing she may not survive, Laura sets out to find her blind childhood friend, Tim, hoping to donate her corneas to restore his sight. Little does she know that he is the very man who broke her heart—now adopted, wealthy, and able to see again.
As Laura attempts to leave her painful past behind, Tim’s manipulative fiancée subjects her to relentless humiliation, false accusations, and cruel schemes. Blinded by deception, Tim repeatedly turns against Laura, unaware that his actions are pushing her closer to death. Although he secretly struggles with his growing obsession and desire to protect her, misunderstandings continue to drive them further apart. Eventually, Laura suffers a critical collapse but survives thanks to a heart transplant and the support of another man who becomes her savior.
When Tim finally discovers the truth and realizes how deeply he loves Laura, he is determined to win her back. But she has already accepted a proposal from the man who saved her life. Refusing to give up, Tim fights to regain her trust, only for his former fiancée to launch one final attack by kidnapping Laura. Tim risks everything to rescue her, sustaining devastating injuries in the process. Believing he may not survive, he reveals the secret he has carried for years: he is her childhood friend and the boy she once promised to remember. He even offers her his heart, leaving Laura overwhelmed by the truth.
Against all odds, Tim survives, and this time he makes his choice without hesitation—Laura is the only woman he wants. With the help of the second male lead, his former fiancée’s final scheme is exposed and she faces justice. The man who once saved Laura selflessly steps aside, giving the reunited lovers the chance to finally build the future they were denied.
