What would you do if every human being had something you desperately needed—time?
Edwin Smith possesses a rare and mysterious power: he can buy years of a person’s life with money and add that stolen time to his own. Rather than exploit the gift, Edwin chooses to help those struggling to survive, paying one million dollars for every year they willingly give up.
But there is one cruel limitation—Edwin cannot sell his own time to others. With his ability, he can only gain time, never give it away. As his fortune grows and desperate people begin lining up to trade away their remaining years, Edwin discovers that every extra year comes with a hidden cost.
Soon, what began as an act of kindness turns into a dangerous battle over life itself, forcing Edwin to question how much a human life is truly worth—and how far he is willing to go to keep his own time from running out.
