The album takes another Pan-African turn with “Isondeze,” the eleventh track on Harmonize's album project titled “31“. The Tanzanian Bongo Flava star brings in Nigerian singer Qing Madi, creating a smooth East-meets-West African collaboration that adds a fresh vocal texture to the latter half of the project. The song was released alongside the 14-track album on September 4, 2026.
The Swahili title “Isondeze” carries the idea of drawing someone closer, which fits the song's romantic and intimate direction. Harmonize explores attraction, longing and the desire to maintain a strong connection with someone special, delivering the theme through melodic vocals rather than an overly dramatic approach.
Qing Madi brings a soulful Nigerian vocal presence to the record, complementing Harmonize's Bongo Flava delivery with her contemporary Afropop and R&B-influenced style. The contrast between their voices gives the collaboration its character, allowing the song to move naturally between Tanzanian and Nigerian musical sensibilities.
Production leans toward a polished Afro-pop sound, combining rhythmic percussion, warm melodies and a relaxed groove. At approximately 4:04, “Isondeze” is one of the longer songs on 31, giving both performers sufficient space to develop the romantic atmosphere and let their vocal performances breathe.
Coming after “Bumpy Ride” featuring Mayorkun, the track maintains the album's run of major African collaborations while shifting the mood back toward romance. It also marks Qing Madi's contribution to a project that features artists from Tanzania, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Egypt.
As Track 11 of 14, “Isondeze” occupies an important position in the final stretch of 31, setting up the remaining collaborations with Stonebwoy, Darkoo, Yemi Alade and Mohamed Ramadan.
