Princess Layla has loved Holy Knight Edmund for years, but after his crushing defeat in battle, she makes an impossible choice to save her kingdom. Giving up her royal title, she arranges for Edmund to marry her maid, Evelyn, believing the sacrifice will spare the realm from Wolf King Fenrir's terrifying demand for a royal bride.

Instead of gratitude, Layla is met with betrayal. Deceived by Evelyn's lies, Edmund publicly humiliates and condemns the woman who gave up everything for him.

With no other way to protect her people, Layla offers herself to Fenrir. Their bargain becomes a blood pact that binds their fates together, and Layla gives up half of her soul to restore Fenrir's lost human form.

As war, betrayal, and ancient curses collide, Layla discovers that the feared Wolf King understands her heart better than the man she once loved. What begins as a sacrifice slowly grows into an unexpected love that could change the fate of the kingdom forever.
