Hani is the legendary War God Princess of the Latu Kingdom. After years of bloodshed finally come to an end, she chooses to abandon her royal identity and disappear into the countryside with her young daughter, determined to live a quiet life far from the palace.
Her peaceful existence is disrupted when a palace eunuch unexpectedly arrives and discovers that Hani’s husband, Fani Lani, is taking this year’s scholar examination. Shocked by the revelation, the eunuch immediately returns to the palace and reports everything to the Emperor.

Intrigued by Fani Lani’s humble background and unaware of the powerful woman standing behind him, the Emperor decides to intervene. He secretly uses his authority to ensure that Fani’s husband, Jhony Jerris, is awarded first place in the examination.

But the Emperor has no idea that his decision has brought him dangerously close to the legendary War God Princess who has been hiding in plain sight. As palace forces begin to investigate Hani’s family, her carefully buried identity—and the power she once commanded—threatens to return to the center of the kingdom.
