Vance, the ruthless heir to a powerful mafia family, recognizes Sera, a prison doctor, as the little girl he rescued years ago. The forgotten childhood connection becomes an all-consuming obsession the moment he sees her again.

Determined to keep Sera close, Vance violently drives away her boyfriend, Adam, forcing their relationship to fall apart. But when a group of inmates kidnaps Sera, they demand an impossible ransom: Vance must sacrifice his own fingers to save her. Without hesitation, he is willing to pay the price, while Adam abandons her and runs.

As a prison riot erupts, chaos turns deadly. Vance confronts Adam, killing him during the violence, then escapes with Sera aboard a helicopter and brings her into the dangerous world he controls.

Bound together by a childhood promise neither of them fully remembers, Sera is pulled into a life of power, betrayal, and obsession, where escaping Vance may be even harder than surviving the enemies surrounding them.
