Chief Onyenze Nwa Amobi, (Amobi Richard Onyenze, aka Onyenze), has a musical possession that can hardly be denied. Although people tend to believe that the Ogidi-born highlife singer was a direct son of the late highlife legend Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe,  this belief is false. Onyenze is actually his nephew. Still “Commander” Osadebe nurtured the young Onyenze as his own son, and made him spend majority of his time with him and other inspirational musicians during various practices. He has plenty downloads in his albums.

Prince Chijioke Mbanefo was the winner of 2011”, 2012, 2015 and most recent 2016 “King of HighLife Music, Africa. A songwriter, composer, and producer, one of Highlife most talented and prolific artist. In a period of less than 15 years, he produced over 30 No.1 albums, marketed a millions of copies across Nigeria and Africa.

Chijioke Mbanefo was born in Abiriba-Ose, Atani-Ogbaru, Nigeria. Chijioke came into the Highlife music industry as a young musician, though he had a short start with a long-lived highlife music legend called Osadebe.

Recently, there was a debate trending on various medias with the aguement that Onyenze Nwa Amobi has surpassed the long time known Highlife King, Chijioke Mbanefo (Osadebe Jnr). The ‘notion holders' claimed that Chijioke Mbanefo reigned as of 2011 – 2016 , but not till recent.

According to a supporter of the aguememt,  he claimed that the release of the album Overtaking is allowed by Onyenze Nwa Amobi fetched Onyenze more fans that of Chijioke's.
