Declan McKenna, an English singer-songwriter, released his third studio album, “What Happened to the Beach?” His own record company, Tomplicated Records, was responsible for the release of the album on February 9, 2024.
The style and sound of the album is a dramatic shift from McKenna's last record, Zeros. The album was produced by Gianluca Buccellati and was influenced by McKenna's experiences in California. A total of four singles, including “Sympathy” and “Nothing Works,” were released prior to the release of What Happened to the Beach?
